Omicron variant:
Recently, news has spread about the new variant of SARS-COV-2.The so called new variant is known as “omicron”.
Just now, schools are opened, people roaming freely that CORONA has been disappeared.Many of the people don’t know the VARIANT information.
So, what exactly the Variant is?
To be put in simple definition, there is some changes happening and modifications in old coronavirus structure.
There are lot of variants found and explained the mechanism clearly here(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variants_of_SARS-CoV-2).I have explained about previous variants in my blog.
WHO classified the omicron variant as first case in US.
Omicron was identified early compared to other variants like Alpha,Beta ..etc.We still don’t know how it will behave.we should wait and see how it goes…
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT OMICRON ?
1.First it was tracked and identified in South Africa.
2.It has spread and detected in other countries like US,Canada and other few countries.Still,India has two cases in karnataka omicron variant.
3.It has lot of mutations which is so not good.
There are many things, we don’t know about omicron.we need to see the observations for some time.There are certain questions arising because of omicron.
1.Is it more dangerous than other variants?
Yes, it is more dangerous than other variants.Because of more mutations.
2.Does it spread fast ?
Yes, it spread really fast, So, we need to take precautions properly.
3.Even I have put vaccine, still it cause the disease?
Yes, very few cases it will attack it.But our vaccine will work efficiently for other variants,But we don’t know about omicron.
CLEAR NOTES:People who didn’t put vaccine, it causes the variant of SARS-COV-2.It would be difficult.So, please put vaccine.

Why we should concern about this variant of SARS-COV-2?
Precisely, we should be very much aware of this variant.Because it is really dangerous this time.This is more prevalent compared to wild type of coronavirus.This virus spreads really fast than other variants.
Scientifically, this omicron has dozens of mutations.Before mutant variant have less effect so the vaccine works good.But now, it could happen anything.
What should we do now?
Our best defense for any variants or COVID-19 cautions remains the same…
1.Get vaccinated
2.Avoid people and traveling
3.Wear mask wherever you go
Scientific understanding of wild type SARS-COV-2 and other variants.
You can clearly visualise the wild type of coronavirus, structure with reference of 3D-protein structure.On the leftie could able to see the variants of each position happening.You can see, how many mutations are there in each variant.
So, the above two images they showed clearly which has more mutations.It is so shocking, omicron has lot of mutations, especially in spike protein.The spike protein has lot of function.
I just wanted to know people about how these variants are changed and its harmful.Rather speaking in words, the pictures could speak evidently.
